Recently I overheard a conversation at work. One co-worker was trying to give advice to another about his spending habits.
She said: “You should try to manage your money better.” He replied: “It’s no use, every time I save a few dollars I get hit by another unexpected expense.”
Do you know anyone with this attitude, maybe yourself? Do you go through life thinking if you didn’t have bad luck you would have none at all? You just can’t get a break… I’ve been there too.
The only one holding you back is yourself. If you want to get rich, get organized, learn a new language or learn to play music, you can. It may not be easy, but it is possible. It is possible but only with time and effort.
Nothing comes easy to most of us. Do you remember learning to ride a bike? Most of us were not great on the first try. You wobbled and weaved and maybe fell, more than once. But you were persistent. You wanted to have the freedom, to feel the wind in your hair.
You want financial freedom? You can have it. However, it will likely take longer than it took you to learn how to ride a bike, though it’s probably a lot easier.
There is no secret to financial freedom. You don’t need to purchase some crazy get rich quick scheme, you don’t need special software, and you don’t need to spend hundreds or thousands on seminars.
What you need is Persistent Purpose. Persisten purpose is that same kind of drive you had when learning to ride a bike. There was a reason you wanted to ride and there is a reason you financial success. Why do you want financial comfort? If you can answer that you have Purpose. Then all you need is to be Persistent!
You didn’t give up riding a bike and if you want wealth you cannot give up on your effort to fix your finances and win your wealth.
Getting rich fast is rare, but getting rich is within reach for everyone.
Step 1 – Spend less than you earn, every day, week and year.
Step 2 – Reduce your expenses relative to your income, every day, week and year.
Step 3 – Invest what you save, every day, week and year.
It is so simple and in 3 easy steps. OK, easy may be an exaggeration.
What can you do to reduce spending? There are thousands of ways and you must educate yourself so that you can make the right decisions for yourself.
What can you do to increase your income? There are thousands of ways and you must educate yourself so that you can make the right decisions for yourself.
What can you do to invest? There are thousands of ways and you must educate yourself so that you can make the right decisions for yourself.
Persistent Purpose – Don’t give up, learn how to ride!
